Watch out For Travelocity. NOT SO Customer oriented

As a Travel Agent and Adviser I can not tell people who and what to do to book their Trips. I must try and find them the best trips and the best price.  However, I have done my research and founf that Travelocity is not a good company to book thru.

One of my clients booked thru them for a december trip, 5 months out. However, whe they called to cancel the trip and try and move to a different Seat assignment, they were told originally that they wouold not be able to cancel the booking unless they paid $150.00 each for the canceliation.  the rules say on the website all cancelation must be more than 3 months out at no cost to travelers. but Travelocity does not see it that way.

After spending 1 hours on the phone with two seperate people from God knows where. They were then Informaed that they would not be able to cancel the flight and rebook in first class unless they surrended all of the first flight cost. NO REFUND.

As an agent I can not honestly recommend anyone book travel thru their web site.

Be careful out there . this couple who is elderly and a Veteran is being ripped off by this company.
